Jessie Ware has been rising on the music scene, after her croons were featured on two of SBTRKT's songs on their self-titled album. Now, she's released the video for her solo buzz track "Running." I really love the old-school feel of her voice and the feel of the track itself. She has a seriously remarkable voice and it's very unique, especially in the way she uses it to maximum effect in her (de)crescendo's. the soft vibe of the melody mixed with the '90s-infused melody makes me love the song more with each listen. love that warbling guitar riff underscoring her soft, sensual voice? I know I do!
